LET’S FIND OUT OUR CHURCH FAMILY

With a passion and zeal for the lost and hurting world, our church is looking for ways to build bridges to a cynical and jaded society. We aim to take a different approach in reaching out and helping people along the journey. We stress cultural relevancy and utilize all medias and means to communicate the church message. It’s very important to believe that you’re the one.

Online giving is simple, easy, and also convenient. For those who are unable to make the trip to the Parish Office or are unable to make their payments or donations at the various committees stands on Sundays, online giving is a stress-free way to make your donations effortlessly and conveniently.

LITURGICAL CELEBRATIONS

During the Eucharistic celebration we have a time of dedicating our gift offerings to God in prayer. This is an opportunity to give to God during the Liturgy.

TESTIMONIALS

  • In conclusion, I like this church because we, the children get to express our talents like singing, dancing and playing so many instruments.

  • I thank all the pioneers of our parish, our parish priests Fr. Michael and Fr. Paul, our dedicated MCA animators and everyone who makes the Catholic Church of the Transfiguration VGC, a lovely and comfortable place to worship God and grow our faith. I am proud to be a Catholic.

  • The vibrancy of the parish is so palpable that you can almost touch it. I make bold to say, it is better experienced than explained. May be when you attend one of our Sunday masses and we welcome you alongside the rendition of the special welcome song composed by the CCTVGC choir, you will understand…..

  • One beautiful Sunday in January 2014, I attended Mass in this Parish for the first time. New comers were called to the Altar to be blessed by the officiating Priest and Parishioners stood up singing a welcome song. I was very elated. We were encouraged to join pious societies and Organizations in the church to foster our spiritual growth. I joined Saint Vincent de Paul without delay having been a member in my former Parish. A year later, I registered with the Catholic Women Organization, there I was also warmly welcomed. Today, in spite of the heavy demands of my job, I am actively involved in the above mentioned group, the CCPR and presently experiencing a fulfilling time undergoing the Parish Life in the Spirit Seminar. Thank you Lord for bringing me to CCT VGC.

  • As a Youth in this Church, I gain so much from here. Apart from mixing up with my peers who share same faith with me, I also benefit enormously from the Parish empowerment program designed to help us develop our skills and make us financially stable and independent. I am proud to be a member of this great family of love.
